Cantabrigian Rowing Club is the largest and most successful town rowing club in Cambridge, England.
Cantabs welcome rowers, scullers and coxes of all abilities and ages and strive to be an inclusive club that welcomes diversity. We run regular Learn to Row courses for juniors and adults. More experienced rowers will find a squad that meets their aspirations, whether they are looking to compete in national – and occasionally international – competitions, enjoy recreational rowing on the Cam, or something in between. Cantabs has held the Town Bumps Women’s Headship since 2017, and the Men’s Headship for 4 out of the last 5 years of racing. In recent years, Cantabs has enjoyed wins at events such as Henley Women’s Regatta, Met Regatta, WEHORR, Scullers Head, Fours Head, Pairs Head, British Masters and Home International. Coaches are always welcome to strengthen our existing volunteer teams and the club offers support for coaches to achieve nationally recognised qualifications. Coxes are also very welcome. Inexperienced coxes will receive support and coaching and are unlikely to be short of crews to train with. If you’d like to get in touch with the club, please use visit the About Us section of the website. |
