A great day of racing at Scullers Head of the River saw 10 Cantabs entries and some great performances, including wins in the Women’s Senior Lightweight for Evelyn Svingen and the Women’s Masters B for Chi-Ying Chen.
Racing through challenging conditions on unfamiliar waters, the Cantabs scullers all raced well with other results including good finishes for athletes from the Senior Men’s Squad, Master’s Men, Junior Squad, as well as 4 additional entries from the Senior Women’s Squad.
Scullers Head is a race I never thought I would see myself doing. It was challenging and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’m so happy I’ve achieved this with the help of some amazing coaching and a supportive squad. But never again… until next year!
