Thanks to everyone who has shared their memories and appreciation of Andy Johnson following the sad news of his death last week. Messages of condolence have been forwarded to Andy’s family.
Andy’s funeral will be on Thursday 22 October at St Marys, Great Shelford, followed by burial at Shelford Cemetery. Current restrictions have imposed strict limits on attendence at the ceremonies. Cambridge rowing will be represented by Mike Hunter (Cantabs), John Martin (Cambridge Veterans) and Bill Key (CRA).

Andy’s family plan a memorial service once restrictions are eased, at which all of his rowing friends will be able to pay their respects. Cantabs is also planning various tributes to commemorate Andy’s huge impact on the club in various ways once larger gatherings are possible.
