There were mixed performances at Fours Head and Vet Fours Head. After securing the first ever victory at Fours Head last year, the Senior Women entered 3 crews, all of whom contained at least ‘Tideway novice’.
Elena Williams, Molly Shaw, Katie Brown and Coco Newton raced well, with plenty of overtakes to keep cox Isabel Nimmo busy, finishing 3rd in the Women’s Band 2 4+.

In the quads, Chiara Avancini, Evelyn Svingen, Maria Stroyakovski and Eve Beere finished 8th in the Women’s Band 2 4x, with Clara Lloyd, Natasha Treagust, Lizzie Pratten and Isabella Mahoney finishing 14th in the same event.

At Vet Fours Head the following day, the Women’s Masters C4- of Gill Cooper, Sue Hakenbeck, Debbie Morley and Judith Weik had to settle for 2nd place this year behind a strong Wallingford RC crew, after winning this event for the previous 2 years.
