Junior Learn To Row Update

We will be running one junior L2R Course per year (under 18’s only) – our next course will now take place during May half-term 2021. The L2R course consists of 5 x 3-hour sessions. On successful completion of the course, subject to squad space availability, a place will be offered to you should you wish to continue.

Note: Our junior waiting list is 12-18 months from the date of registration

The cost of the 2021 course will be £65. Preferred payment will be via BACS otherwise by cheques. Payment details will be provided in your course invite.

Venue: Cambridgeshire Rowing Association boathouse – click here for map

For safety reasons, participants should be able to swim a minimum of 50 metres. A parent/guardian will need to sign a consent form and bring it along to the child’s first session – click here to download form

Medical Conditions: Please declare any medical conditions on the form that may affect your child’s rowing. This will ensure we can put the right safety provision in place.

Please register your interest by signing up on our Junior Learn to Row – click here.

After you have completed your Learn to Row course, there will be the opportunity to continue your membership of the club and further develop your rowing and/or sculling. You will then be assigned to a Junior Rowing Squad.

We would encourage the junior athlete to get British Rowing Membership as this is required for BR events that we attend. Further details can be found by clicking here.
