2022's Scullers Head was a successful one for Cantabs, seeing the 3rd Cantabs win in 2 years, as Freya Sutcliffe won the women's senior lightweight event.
This year, 6 Cantabs athletes entered, with only two athletes having raced the challenging Tideway course before. For some, just finishing the race was an achievement in itself.
Andrew Morley finished a creditable 10th in the Masters D event, with John Cumner 18th in the Club event on his Tideway debut, and William Woodard 8th in the Senior Lightweight event.
For the women's entries, Becky Dell and Laura Blenkarn finished 6th and 7th in the Women's Club event, Ulrika Andersson 10th in the Women's Senior Lightweight event, but Freya Sutcliffe providing the stand-out performance of the day by winning that category.
