All four of the Cantabs crews who raced at the Huntingdon Head of The River on 22nd October finished in the top three of their categories. The Mens Novice 4x- provided the following report:
Although the quad had some trouble negotiating the tight corners on the way up to the start the bow man, Anton Wright, did a sterling job of racing the course when it counted. The race was powerful and controlled with a big finish which paid testament to the fitness of the crew.
Results-wise; the quad certainly belied it’s ‘novice’ status, beating all the IM2 quads and finishing 4th overall.
