Intermediate Women win at Robs Autumn Head

On Saturday 15th October, various Cantabs crews took to the water to take part in the Autumn Head.

The Intermediate Women’s Squad were successful in the women’s IM3 8+, most of whom having broken their novice status this summer. Emma Siragher, Emma Dalrymple, Debbie Morley, Marjon Hilgenga, Sue Waterhouse, Megan Leoni, Rebecca Cicolecchia, Jessica Santos and cox Laura Brightman (pictured below) completed the course 22 seconds ahead of the second placed crew from City of Cambridge.

The masters and novice men’s crews were also all out in force, with the Aquaphobes, Burrowers, Motley Crew, Poachers and Hunters racing in their respective masters categories and getting their first race of the season under their belts. There was also an entry in W.NOV.8+ from Racks Out, a women’s masters crew.

There were also entries from the junior squads in the girls’ and boys’ J15 quads, and the Hills Belles (novice girls from Hills Road) raced in the W.J18.8+.
