Racks Out

Racks Out are a women’s master’s squad, originally formed in 2009.

In addition to racing on the Cam and Thames, they regularly race abroad. In recent years, they have been to:

  • Warsaw, Poland
  • Budapest, Hungary
  • Ponza, Italy
  • Heidelberg, Germany

Their trips to Heidelberg, which is twinned with Cambridge, saw them racing in crews containing Olympic champions from the German M8+, and being coxed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. You can read about their royal row here.

They are currently planning their next European race.

They train twice a week (one evening and Saturday mornings) on the water in a mixture of boat types.

The squad currently has around 10 members and invites rowers and coxes of all ages, abilities and experience.
