Regatta season saw senior Cantabs crews race at 3 Dorney regattas, with encouraging results at each.
Wallingford Regatta
Wallingford Regatta was the first regatta for the Senior Women as they began their preparations for Henley Women’s Regatta in June.
Encouraging performances included a 2nd place finish in the Women’s Club 4+, a 5th place finish in the Women’s Challenge 2- for one of our two pairs, and the scratch Women’s Club 8+ finishing as the fastest non-qualifiers for the final.
Met Regatta
The Senior Men joined the Senior Women at Met, with results for the weekend including a 3rd place finish in the Women’s Championship 2-, 2nd in the B final of the Women’s 4-, 3rd in the B final of the Women’s 4+, 2nd in the E final of the W8+, 6th in the D final of the Men’s 4- and 7th in the E final of the Men’s 8+.
