Cantabs took 23 J12-J14 juniors to Peterborough Junior Championships on 28th June. We were able to race 4 quads, 4 doubles and even our octuple. Despite the very strong opposition from the many independent schools who attend this regatta, we had some notable races. The most successful Cantabs crew was the WJ14 4X+ (Maddie, Tabitha, Helena, Freya, coxed by May) who progressed through heats and a semi-final to reach the final, where they were won silver medals behind a very strong Headington School quad.
