Congratulations to the Men’s 2nd VIII whose timed race at Henley on Friday qualified them for the Thames Challenge Cup at Henley, joining the 1st VIII who pre-qualified on the basis of results at other regattas. The HRR draw for the first round of the Thames cup on Wednesday 27th June will see Cantabs A racing Durham ARC at 10am and Cantabs B racing Worcester RC at 7pm.
Cantabs certainly had better luck in the draw than Curlew RC, whose A and B crews were drawn to race against each other in the first race of the day in the first round!
