We have received confirmation from BR that the lockdown commencing 5th November requires sports clubs/facilities, including rowing clubs and their landing stages to close entirely.
In the light of this, no-one should come to the Cantabs boathouse from Thursday 5th November onwards, until further notice, except with prior agreement of the committee. The CRA boathouses are similarly closed.
Sadly we have had to cancel the Winter Head, which was due to take place on 14th November, and make full refunds of the entry fees.
For club members, our expert-lead online workouts are resuming, an exercise challenge has stated to help keep people motivated and online social events are being planned. Any club member needing support at this time is encouraged to reach out to their fellow members or to the committee.
