Club members have been shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Noga Sella in an accident earlier this week. Noga’s father, Yoram Hirshfeld, was also killed, her youngest daughter was seriously injured and her husband and son sustained minor injuries after the group were hit by a car in Ramsgate, Kent.
Noga was a consultant physicist at Cambridge Design Partnership and a lively contributor to the local community, including as a Girlguiding leader. At Cantabs, Noga rowed with the Racks Out crew. She had taken some time off rowing over the past year but was due to re-join the crew next week.
Our thoughts are with Noga’s family and friends at this terrible time.
